Arbony was founded in Belgium in 2001 and has since quickly become the undisputed specialist in the manufacture of aged French oak planks and parquet floors. As the market leader, Arbony is sold all over the world. The workshops are located in Liège and control the entire production chain, from planing to finishing, from aging and coloring to the assembly of the parquet floors. No steps are subcontracted, which allows for optimal quality control.

A lover of old materials with their authentic charm, Arbony has become a master in the art of vintage flooring, something that normally only time can produce. The patinas are the result of a unique and complex process that requires an in-depth knowledge of the wood. No synthetic dyes are used that cover the wood and give it an artificial color. The colors are the result of reactive processes that are based only on the oxidation of the tannins in the oak and give the wood the most natural colors.

Arbony has its own sawmill in the French Ardennes forest. The controlled wood comes exclusively from sustainably managed Belgian and French forests and can be FSC or PEFC certified on request.

Often copied but never matched, Arbony floors and parquet are inimitable and are considered by purists to be the best on the market to date.
